“O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no god but You. You created me and I am Your slave. I am true to Your covenant and promise as much as I am able. I seek refuge in you from the wrongs I have done. I admit to You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I admit to You my sins. So forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.”
Istighfaar. Where do I begin?
“O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you were to come to Me with sins filling the earth and then you would meet Me without ascribing any partners to Me, I would certainly bring to you forgiveness close to filling it.”
