Ibadah is something we do solely for Allah, it is one of the conditions for our deeds to be accepted. Showing off is not allowed, as the deed is no longer done to please Allah but instead to show people how pious or righteous one is.

We all love company, whether it is keeping someone else company or for our own entertainment. The joy of having someone else with you, to chat to, to laugh with, to share moments of happiness is all part of human nature. But all too easily it can become a cause of destruction.
I’m sure you’ve all come across some superstitious beliefs before. Falling into shirk, is scary. I mean, none of us ever want to go that way. We don’t want to even go close to shirk, because that’s risking our hereafter, and putting everything on the line. But how often do we pay attention to what we say? Especially when we are trying to prove our point. We say and we swear, and we vow, barely paying attention to the limits set by Allah.

Evil omens, bad luck and misfortune all fall under the same heading of superstitions. They all have an underlying theme common to all three, and that is the belief that something has the power to affect something else negatively. To put it more bluntly, they all rely on belief that other than Allah has the power to control or manipulate in a negative manner.
