Today our society is plagued with music. There is not a street corner to be turned except that music can be heard reverberating through the air. Many wake up to an alarm filled with music, others listen to it on the way to work, in the car, on the bus and even in schools.
Fridays are a day of Eid for us muslims, and whilst we are permitted to work on this day, it does not entail that one must disobey Allah whilst doing so. Once the second call for prayer (athan) is sounded, trading is no longer permitted and one should abstain from trading whether he is the buyer or seller.
