Ramadaan, a month of blessings for us, from Allah to increase our taqwa and draw closer to Him has gone, gone too soon.
It was a month of blessings and also a month of training for us, easy training to do ibadah whilst the shaytaan was locked up.
As we all began to gather round the table for iftaar, hushed mumblings of “I’m starving” surfaced above the hustle and bustle as everyone moved towards the dining area. The table was exquisitely laid, with dates of the sweetest and softest kind, exotic fruits,
“Huff!” someone sighed loudly over the imam’s recitation. The mosque was small, the prayer area was crowded, and the atmosphere was stuffy. The room was getting hot and people were becoming agitated and tired.
Ramadaan has sadly passed, yet Allah has blessed us with opportunities to earn His rewards and good pleasure. The Day of Eid was a great celebration during which we praised and thanked Allah for His blessing upon us.
